We are marine community ecologists especially interested in the interactions between species that involve chemical signals.  We study pelagic, benthic, and terrestrial ecosystems.  By addressing similar questions in different systems, we are equipped to test the generality of our discoveries, and how these signals scale up to influence higher levels of organization.
